Our courses and workshops cover the fundamentals of academic writing and are taught by well-trained peer tutors and Schreibzentrum staff. In our workshops' welcoming and practice-oriented environments, you will learn anything from structuring a term paper to argumentation and even creative writing strategies.

At the Writing Center, we see both potential benefits and risks in the use of AI in the academic writing process, some of which depend on subject-specific writing cultures. We therefore advocate critical consideration and reflection on the use of AI. We contribute to this with the following services, among others:
For students

- In our current , you can find the workshops "AI Writing Tools in the Writing Process" or the German equivalent "KI-Tools in den Schreibprozess integrieren", as well as the workshops "KI-gest眉tzte Schreibstrategien (f眉r Fortgeschrittene)" and "KI als Hilfsmittel beim wissenschaftlichen Lesen" (in German).
- The "Nutzung und Kennzeichnung von KI-Tools" (German only) offers a suggestion on how to make the use of AI in your writing projects transparent.
- Together with studiumdigitale, we have collected some tips and advice for the responsible use of AI in the .

For teachers
- We expanded our program of seminar-integrated trainings and added the trainings "Maintaining Academic Integrity in the AI-integrated Writing Process" and the German equivalent "KI-Schreib-Tools: Einbindung in den Schreibprozess mit Blick auf akademische Integrit盲t". Registration for the upcoming semester is always open around the end of the current semester. You can find the deadlines on the website.
