About me
Hi, I’m Isabel Grünenwald. I did my Bachelor and Master program in psychology at ¿´Æ¬Èí¼þ in Frankfurt a.M. and finished my Master with focus on Clinical Psychology and Work and Organizational Psychology in August 2020. I worked as a student assistant in the department of Social Psychology from 2017 to 2020. I enjoyed researching in the field of Social Psychology a lot and always felt very comfortable in the team, which is why I decided to do my PhD in this department after my Master. However, I also pursue a career as a cognitive-behavioral psychotherapist (for adults), which is why I’m doing my apprenticeship to become a psychotherapist parallel to my PhD. I can ideally combine my clinical and my social psychological interests with my dissertation topic: “The role of social identification and stress-mindset for coping and well-being of children of mentally ill parents”.
