As part of the Curriculum, Legal Affairs, and Quality Development Department, the Academic Legal Affairs team supports the governing bodies, organizational units, and teaching staff of ¿´Æ¬Èí¼þ in matters related to academic and examination law. The university's legal department is responsible for other areas of law.
The main responsibilities of Academic Legal Affairs include:
- providing legal support in the procedures for introducing and discontinuing degree programs
- advising and assisting the faculties in developing and enacting degree-specific regulations
- participating in the accreditation and reaccreditation of degree programs as part of the university's internal quality assurance system
- providing legal counsel to the university management, faculties, and departments on examination law issues
- advising and drafting legal frameworks in the area of admissions, including drafting admission statutes and other university regulations
- preparing legal opinions and statements in response to inquiries and legislative proposals in the area of academic and examination law
- handling appeal procedures and representing ¿´Æ¬Èí¼þ in legal proceedings in the aforementioned areas
