Goethe Card

Goethe Card

The Goethe Card is your student ID card at 看片软件. The multi-functional smart card makes student life more convenient by combining a variety of functions on a single card. It is not only a student ID but also a library card, a payment card for the cafeteria, a key for lockers and an admission ticket for the Palmengarten and numerous museums throughout Frankfurt.

Please note:
The digital semester ticket will be available from summer semester 2024. This will replace the previous ticket imprint on the Goethe Card.

Validation of the Goethe Card will still be possible and necessary in the future after re-registration (for its validity as a student ID card). 

Validity period of the digital semester ticket (Deutschlandticket):
In the summer semester: six months from April 1 to September 30
In the winter semester: six months from October 1 to March 31

Validate and add money to your Goethe Card

The Goethe Card must be validated every semester in order to remain valid. The HRZ is responsible for all validator machines.
