Constantin Ruhe is Professor of Political Science with a Focus on Quantitative Empirical Social Research Methods at the ¿´Æ¬Èí¼þ Frankfurt am Main, Germany. Prior to joining the ¿´Æ¬Èí¼þ, he worked as a researcher at the German Development Institute/Deutsches Institut für Entwicklungspolitik (DIE), Bonn as well as as a postdoctoral researcher at the Zukunftskolleg and the Department of Politics and Public Administration at the University of Konstanz. Constantin Ruhe completed his doctoral degree at the Graduate School of Decision Sciences at the University of Konstanz.
In his research, he studies armed political violence and its effect on individual attitudes and group dynamics, (forced) migration, conflict management and conflict resolution in armed conflicts as well as quantitative research methodology. Constantin Ruhe's work has been published among others in International Interaction, the Journal of Peace Research, Political Analysis and the Stata Journal.
