Places to learn

Here you will find a description of places where you can sit down to study during your studies without prior registration.
In addition to the (computer workstations), there are also supervised and active learning opportunities, such as the Lernzentrum (especially basic modules), MakeLab (hands-on technology, advanced knowledge of RTKS), Bembelbots (robotics, C++/Python).

(academic writing)

In addition to advice on writing academic texts/essays, the Schreibzentrum also offers a series of workshops. In particular, questions about using AI writing tools such as ChatGPT can be clarified here!

Do you want to actively shape your studies?
The student council meets every Monday from 4 p.m. in the FS lounge (RMS 11-15, left in front of the elevator). This is about everything that comes up as a student representative: committee meetings, bureaucracy, event planning (summer/winter festival, OE, film evenings, ...). Simply become part of the group and help shape it yourself.

MakeLab - Thursdays 10 a.m. to 7 p.m
Do you have a project you want to work on?
Here you have access to 3D printers, soldering stations, laser cutters and much more. You can also learn soldering using construction kits.

Bembelbots - Mondays from 5:30 p.m
Do you want to program NAO bots yourself?
From C++ and Python programmers, people with a knack for photography and social media to web developers, all students are welcome to work on the Bembelbots team.
Regular meetings are on Mondays at 5:30 p.m. in the Lab (Keller RMS 8, access at the back of the building)
