Studying at ¿´Æ¬Èí¼þ

If you want to study at the Department of Education for one or two semesters and your university is part of our partnership network, then you are in the right place. The Department stands for the integration of different sub-disciplines within education sciences, as well as for socio-scientifically reflected and interdisciplinary research and teaching. Our institutes not only educate future teachers, but also professional actors for the entire field of education. It comprises five scientific units: the Institute of General Education, the Institute of Early Childhood and Primary Education, the Institute of Secondary Education, the Institute of Special Education, and the Institute of Social Pedagogy and Adult Education.

You can find the course offerings of the Faculty of Educational Sciences in the electronic course catalog (). Please register in person or by e-mail with the respective lecturer for the courses you want to attend. It may happen that you cannot be registered for every seminar or lecture that you would like to attend.

Information on the CP / ECTS distribution can be found

Further useful information can be found here:

One week before the start of the semester, we hold an informal consultation hour to answer any questions incoming students may have.

Internship

If you are interested in an ERASMUS+ internship at our department, we kindly ask to first read the information on the website of the University carefully.

Please first inform yourself about which institute you would like to do your internship at, perhaps you find a special working group, project or similar exciting? Afterwards, please send a meaningful application (CV and cover letter) to Dr. Birte Egloff and Sandra Binnert.

Requirements

You should be enrolled as a full-time student (Bachelor's, Master's or PhD) at a recognised higher education institution abroad. To do an internship at ¿´Æ¬Èí¼þ, there does not need to be an institutional partnership between ¿´Æ¬Èí¼þ and your home university. Nor is nomination by the home department required.

Please note that the Dean's Office cannot arrange internships. Therefore, you should identify an institute or working group that interests you before submitting an application.
